M&D Care in South Wales is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional support needs in residential services. You’ll help individuals live independently, participate in activities, and build confidence with support on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work flexibly across rota including weekends and sleep-ins
• No previous care experience required
• QCF Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care desirable

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday living activities
• Promoting independence and life skills
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
• Supporting access to community activities and activities in the home
• Providing emotional support and encouragement
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Supporting with medication administration
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with families and healthcare professionals
