Job summary

M&D Care Limited in South Wales is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs in residential services. You will help individuals live fulfilling, independent lives in a supportive home environment.

No prior care experience is required; we value values, attitude and potential and provide comprehensive training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to work flexibly across a rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional support needs to live independently.
• Promote independence and life skills.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and interests.
• Assist with access to community activities and home activities.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Support with medication administration.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
