Job summary

M&D Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join Residential Services across South Wales. You will help adults with learning disabilities, autism, and additional needs live fulfilling, independent lives in a supportive home environment.

We value attitude and potential and offer comprehensive training, progression opportunities, and benefits. No prior care experience is required; training will be provided to develop essential skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a residential care setting with adults.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday living activities
• Promoting independence and life skills
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
• Supporting access to community activities and activities in the home
• Providing emotional support and encouragement; assisting with personal care when required
• Supporting with medication administration
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with families and healthcare professionals
