Job summary

Enham Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care for residents at Elizabeth House and Enham Trust. You will develop independence, support daily living tasks, and help residents engage in meaningful activities while building strong, respectful relationships with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be compassionate and patient.
• Ideally some experience in a caring industry (e.g., hospitality or schools).
• Pass DBS check or be on DBS Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support with personal care, wellbeing and daily living activities, promoting dignity, privacy and independence.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with residents and understand their needs and aspirations.
• Help residents develop life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and household tasks.
• Encourage participation in community activities, education and social experiences.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents and support their personal goals.
• Assist residents with mobility needs and use of care equipment safely.
