Job summary

Riverside Group in London is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a fixed-term contract of 12 months, based at Lime Tree Gardens, Camden. You will deliver person-centred support to customers and help them move toward more independent housing.

You will connect customers with employability coaches, assist with budgeting and benefits sign-ups, and maintain thorough records in line with safeguarding and data-protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience of delivering structured support and risk management.
• Be a team player with a caring and empathetic nature with a resilient, can-do attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, including lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including lone working and non-office times.

Responsibilities

• Work from a Riverside supported service to provide customer support and connect clients with employability coaches and other agencies; assist with budgeting, benefits sign-up, and move-on to a more permanent home.
• Keep accurate records and complete administrative tasks.
• Lead on co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans with key stakeholders.
• Organise regular reviews of support and risk plans and engage customers to meet outcomes and develop life skills.
• Assist with day-to-day tenancy related matters and signpost to external services.
