Job summary

Saracen Care is looking for compassionate Support Workers to help people with learning disabilities or autism live their best life. This full-time role involves supporting daily living, community access and personal goals within a resident care setting.

We offer comprehensive training, a supportive team, pension, DBS and enhanced bank holiday pay. Requirements include 2+ years in adult health and social care, a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within adult health and social care.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support during daily activities, including accessing the community.
• Assist with domestic duties and household management, including cleaning, cooking, washing and managing finances.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Motivate and encourage people through positive engagement and interaction.
• Promote choice and independence to help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Keep accurate records in line with company policies and CQC guidelines.
• Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing in accordance with safer recruitment guidelines.
