Job summary

Blue Ribbon in Great Harwood is seeking a Female Support Worker to empower individuals with autism and learning disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives.

You will enable access to activities, follow person-centred care plans, assist with personal care and daily tasks, and maintain accurate care records.

This 16- or 24-hour contract pays £13.14 per hour and requires a full UK driving licence; training and development are provided to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
• Full UK Driver's Licence and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Enable people we support to access a full range of activities, ensuring personal choices and preferences are supported.
• Contribute to and follow person-centred care plans, ensuring individual needs and wants are met.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Accurately complete daily documentation, including care records, nutrition charts, and incident reports.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Support individuals with meal preparation, domestic duties, and general household tasks.
• Provide psychological, emotional, and physical support to service users.
• Enable access to the community, support with appointments, and encourage social interactions.
