Job summary

Upward Care in Solihull, West Midlands, is seeking a thoughtful Support Worker to help adults in a supported living setting. You will provide person-centred assistance, including daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, personal care, and medication administration, working to individual care plans.

Ideally you will hold an NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification. We welcome applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate caring values, optimism, and ambition to help

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in residential care or supported living preferred; candidates with no experience but strong caring qualities welcome.
• Ability to provide person-centered support including shopping, cooking, personal care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to adults in their own homes including shopping and cooking.
• Assist with personal care and administer medication as required.
• Maintain records and communicate effectively to meet service users' needs.
• Develop career through training and development as needed.
