Job summary

Thera Trust in Grimston is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with a learning disability live fulfilling lives. You’ll provide personal and emotional support, assist with daily living, and help people plan and manage their own homes. No previous experience required; full training will be provided. The role is varied, with community and in-home support, offering secure employment with annualised hours and a guaranteed monthly salary.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Be a self-starter with a high level of motivation and a keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with a learning disability in their daily lives.
• Provide personal and emotional support and help plan and manage each person’s home.
• Support with leisure, employment, interests and travel; assist people to develop new skills.
• Work in people’s own homes or out in the community as needed.
