Job summary

Thera Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with a learning disability live the lives they choose. You will deliver personal and emotional support, encourage new skills, and assist with daily activities and routines.

You may work in the client's home or in the community, building independence, planning activities, and supporting travel, leisure and employment goals. No formal qualifications are required, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• No previous experience or qualifications required.
• Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with a learning disability develop new skills and independence.
• Provide personal and emotional support.
• Assist with planning and managing daily routines at home.
• Support with leisure, travel, employment and personal interests.
• Work in clients' homes or out in the community.
