Job summary

Havencare is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team across Cornwall. You will help individuals develop independence, access their local community, and enjoy social activities from cinema trips to days out.

The role offers a variety of patterns including day shifts, night shifts, sleep-ins, and 14-hour shifts; positions range from part-time to full-time. As a Support Worker you empower people with learning disabilities, autism, or brain injuries to live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop independence and essential daily living skills
• Access and engage with their local community
• Enjoy social activities such as cinema trips, shopping, cafés, and days out
• Participate in meaningful experiences and opportunities
• Express their views and wishes, advocating for them when needed
• Build confidence and achieve greater independence
