Job summary

Salutem Care and Education in Cornwall is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide daily, person-centred support to adults in our residential home. You will assist with daily living, promote independence and engage individuals in activities and community opportunities.

Flexible shifts include days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; DBS checks are required on hire. The role offers training and career progression within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing in line with care plans and PBS strategies.
• Deliver tailored support meeting physical, emotional, social and mental health needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, nutrition and use of specialist equipment as required.
• Support health and wellbeing by monitoring needs, attending appointments and maintaining accurate records.
• Administer and manage medication safely in accordance with policies and training.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming living environment and complete accurate documentation.
