Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a higher level teaching assistant to support children and young people with ASD/SEMH. You’ll help them learn, develop their abilities and raise self-esteem, in a resilient, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
• NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Ability to plan meetings and liaise with teachers to devise learning activities

Responsibilities

• Support children with ASD/SEMH needs to learn and develop
• Help raise self-esteem and resilience in pupils
• Work with teachers to plan and deliver learning activities
• Be part of a supportive team providing consistent attendance and progress
