Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Altrincham. This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD and other complex needs in a supportive environment.

The role involves planning differentiated lessons, managing behaviour, contributing to EHCP targets, and working with TAs, parents and external agencies. Immediate start available with competitive daily rates of £160-£230 depending on experience.

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching children with SEN, SEMH, ASD or complex needs.
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
Support pupils with complex learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement and attainment.
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external agencies.
Contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting.
Promote pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing.
