Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND across primary schools in the London Borough of Bexley. Roles include one-to-one and small-group support with children who have autism, ADHD and other learning needs.

The position offers flexible supply, short- and long-term placements, with typical hours 8:30am–3:30pm and daily pay between £90-£115 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a school or childcare setting.
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant TA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support children with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and additional learning needs.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and emotional regulation.
• Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual support strategies.
• Promote an inclusive, positive learning environment.
