Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant for secondary schools in Lambeth. You will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, work one-to-one and in small groups, and assist with SEN/EHC Plans and SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar support role.
• Experience supporting students with SEN and/or managing challenging behaviour.
• Able to build positive, professional relationships with young people and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with learning and development.
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Provide tailored support for students with SEN, EHC Plans, SEMH needs, and additional learning requirements.
• Help promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Support teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents where appropriate.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
