Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment are working with a welcoming SEMH school in Warwick seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant to join their team. The school has a passionate and supportive team and provides a positive environment for both pupils and staff.

This varied role supports pupils across Maths and English, with 1:1 and small-group support, and assists teachers in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an education, youth or support setting.
• Confident supporting Maths and English.
• Reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning across Maths, English and other subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lessons.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, engagement and progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH.
