Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support post-16 learners with a range of additional needs in a Rochdale sixth form. The role focuses on building independence, life skills and employability ahead of adulthood, with a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

You will provide one-to-one and small group support, help deliver personalised learning and community-based programmes, contribute to EHCP targets, and work closely with families, carers and external agencies

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with SEND in school, residential, or community settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to helping pupils achieve independence and life success.
