Job summary

The National Autistic Society's Field View Residential in Rawcliffe, United Kingdom, is seeking caring Support Workers to help autistic adults live more independently and follow individual support plans. You will assist with daily routines and encourage participation in activities such as swimming, hiking, and crafts.

This part-time role, 24 hours per week, requires flexibility to cover evenings and weekends. A driving licence is essential, and a DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome.
• Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and eating.
• Encourage activities the people supported enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts).
• Support life skills and independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation).
