P&S Care and Support Services in the Basildon area is recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to support adults with mental health difficulties across services. The role focuses on providing practical and emotional support, building trusting relationships, and helping individuals develop confidence and independence to manage their mental health and personal goals.

Whether you have prior experience in mental health services or transferable experience, we would love to hear from you.

Formación

• Caring, patient and understanding approach.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs (desirable).
• Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Provide practical and emotional support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
• Help individuals develop confidence, skills and independence to manage their mental health and work toward personal goals.
• Flexibility to travel between different sites across Basildon and surrounding areas.
