Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient and confident demeanor in a busy school setting.
• Ability to work well in a team and use initiative when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom and help keep them engaged with their learning.
• Provide additional support to students who may need extra help.
• Work alongside teachers and support staff to help students make progress.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Help create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students both academically and personally throughout the school day.
