Job summary

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy within Star Academies is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils in a disadvantaged community, helping raise achievement and confidence.

You will hold NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and be able to work one-to-one, in small groups and with whole classes, building positive relationships across the school and with families.

This is a full-time role with professional development opportunities through Star Talent Academy.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils to enable learning and progress.
• Support learning and teaching in one-to-one, small groups and whole class settings.
• Build positive relationships across the school and with the Star community.
