Job summary

Oakfield House School is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support teachers with a personalised curriculum, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering a broad, engaging and personalised curriculum.
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning and achieve goals.
Assist in implementing educational and behavioural programmes for diverse needs.
Encourage students' confidence, independence and positive relationships.
Monitor and record students' progress and share feedback with the team.
Prepare learning resources and materials to support lessons and activities.
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, nurturing environment.
Accompany students on educational visits and enrichment activities.
