Job summary

Community School is seeking enthusiastic Teaching & Learning Assistants at Level 2 to support students with SEND and help deliver a differentiated curriculum under the guidance of the SEND Manager.

Applicants should have GCSE A-C (including EM) or equivalent, strong ICT skills, and experience of working with pupils within the KS3/KS4 framework. A collaborative, proactive approach is essential, with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• GCSE A-C or equivalent including EM/A Levels.
• Good ICT skills.
• Experience of supporting young learners in an organisational setting.
• Experience within a behaviour management policy.
• Clear understanding of KS3 and KS4 national curriculum.
• Ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Understanding of how data is used at KS3 and KS4.
• Understanding of individual learning styles.
• Ability to identify barriers to learning and nurture strategies.
• Ability to maintain student records and feed back to staff.
• Ability to employ coaching skills including group work.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and safeguarding.
