Job summary

Ideal backgrounds include education, youth work, sports coaching or mental health support, with a passion for making a difference in a child’s life. Roles are based in local primary schools across the area.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN, ASD or ADHD is highly valued.
• Ability to build trust and boost confidence in learners.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support children 1:1 or in small groups.
• Help pupils manage emotions, behaviour and social interactions.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning and create positive outcomes.
• Celebrate achievements and provide encouragement to learners.
• Be a trusted adult who helps children feel safe and understood.
