Job summary

Turning Point Scotland’s South Ayrshire Learning Disabilities Service is looking for Support Practitioners to join their team in South Ayrshire. The role involves assisting individuals with learning disabilities to live their best life through home and community-based support.

Salary in the £25k region (pro rata) with permanent/casual contracts. Full Time, Part Time and Relief hours available. A rewarding role with training opportunities and progression within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.
• SSSC registration within 6 months of start date may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support people to meet friends, go out for meals and attend activities.
• Provide at-home and community support across varying shifts including sleepovers.
• Encourage service users to engage with local resources and develop skills and friendships.
