Job summary

Turning Point Scotland in Dundee is seeking a Support Practitioner to help adults with learning disabilities in a person-centred way. Roles include 1:1 and group support in a Dundee-based service.

We offer full and part-time hours with relief, a permanent contract, and comprehensive training. IT skills are required; SSSc registration may be needed within six months, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is required; full training will be provided.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.
• Must register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to adults with learning disabilities, 1:1 or in a team setting.
• Encourage personal outcomes in daily life: safety, activities, community involvement, health, relationships and wellbeing.
• Work in partnership with service users, families, health teams, social work teams and advocacy.
