Thamesmead School is seeking a dedicated role to support students with diverse needs and help them overcome barriers to learning. You will work alongside teachers, SEND staff and pastoral teams to provide targeted support both in and out of the classroom, adapting to individual needs.

You will contribute to a supportive school community, benefit from professional development opportunities, and help students achieve their potential within a committed SEND and pastoral team.

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people preferred but not essential.
• Patience, resilience and adaptability are important.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide targeted support for students with additional needs both in and out of the classroom.
• Work as part of the SEND and pastoral teams to support inclusion and student well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support learning and behaviour for learning.
