Thames Christian School seeks a committed individual to support pupils with mild Specific Learning Difficulties and neurodiversity. The role focuses on helping pupils access their learning and achieve personal outcomes in a supportive environment.
You will work with SENDCo, teachers and staff to adapt lessons, record progress and develop resources, within term-time teaching and a friendly, inclusive school community near Clapham Junction.
We are looking for a committed individual with a passion for helping pupils succeed. The successful applicant will support pupils with a range of mild Specific Learning Difficulties and neurodiversity, most commonly dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD or ASC.
Thames is a thriving mainstream and diverse independent secondary school located next to Clapham Junction station, in a brand new, purpose built premises. A recent CReSTeD inspection report stated: “Thames should be a blueprint for all schools aiming to meet the needs of mainstream students, alongside those with additional learning needs.” The SEND department consists of a number of highly qualified learning support teachers and learning support assistants.
