Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Learning Mentor to join an Alternative Provision in Stroud, supporting KS3 and KS4 students who benefit from additional guidance both in and out of the classroom.

You'll provide one-to-one and small group mentoring, help students engage with learning, build confidence and resilience, and work with teachers and SEN staff to support tailored learning plans. A full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students.
• Support students to engage positively with learning and develop confidence.
• Build positive relationships and act as a role model.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and coping strategies.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals to support learning plans.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support educational visits and off-site activities.
