Job summary

Education at Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Learning Mentor to support KS3 and KS4 students in Stroud, with mentoring both in and out of the classroom. The role offers full-time, long-term prospects and a daily pay rate of £90–£115 plus holiday pay.

You will mentor individuals and small groups, foster confidence and resilience, and work with teachers and SEN staff to implement learning and behaviour plans. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for site-to-site support.

Qualifications

• At least 30 days' experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting students with additional needs, SEMH needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• A calm, compassionate and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle; travel between sites may be required.

• Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring to students.

Pay: £90-£115 per day + Holiday Pay (12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot)

We're recruiting a Learning Mentor to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Stroud, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students who benefit from additional guidance both in and out of the classroom.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

What you'll be doing
