Job summary

Arkwright Primary School is a welcoming and nurturing environment seeking a dynamic Teaching and Learning Assistant to join a friendly team. The role focuses on supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 and collaborating with teachers to help each child reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualifications (or equivalent) and a suitable Level 2 in English and Maths. Experience with SEND and a proactive, collaborative approach are highly valued in our

Experience of supporting children within a primary school setting, including those with SEND.

Responsibilities

Primarily support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2.
Work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential.
Support pupils with SEND through classroom support, interventions and small-group work when required.
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for all pupils.
Contribute to a caring and inclusive school culture where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their very best.
