We are seeking experienced Support Workers to help deliver Day Opportunities services and to support customers with profound and multiple disabilities, enabling independence and social engagement. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs is desirable.
• Ability to communicate using different methods (including Makaton, pictures, schedules).
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of services to adults with profound and multiple disabilities.
• Assist with personal care and mobility according to care plans.
• Engage customers in activities and support independence and meaningful relationships.
