Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting Community Support Workers to support adults with disabilities in the Fylde and Wyre area. You will provide practical and emotional support to help people live independently in their own homes, promoting health, wellbeing and community participation.

In this role you will work flexible hours, including weekends and potential sleep-in shifts, with full induction and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
• Support people with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, and mobility where required.

• Help individuals access employment, education, volunteering, and leisure opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning and reviews.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, colleagues, and partner agencies.
