Qualifications

• Resilience to handle challenging situations in a residential setting.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• If you don’t have the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, WG will support you to study.
• Join the Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training to build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Care for young people day to day, helping with routines and activities.
• Assist with getting them ready for school and with homework.
• Complete paperwork and plan engaging activities to support development.
• Evenings and weekends involve supervised activities and outings.
