Qualifications

• Experience working with people with Autism or Learning disabilities would be advantageous, but not essential as mentoring and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Support children, young people and adults within the community by attending clubs, classes and activities.
• Follow and update each child’s care plan toward appropriate outcomes.
• Build positive relationships to help clients achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with parents and partner agencies to ensure opportunities for clients.
• Communicate and document important information to colleagues and management.
• Attend meetings and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Understand safeguarding and child protection principles.
