Job summary

Delight Supported Living is seeking care/support workers to join our compassionate team in Scotland. You will help service users maintain independence, dignity and a person-centred approach in daily living.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting with hydration, medication support, errands, personal care, mobility, appointments, community activities and coordinating with professionals to ensure joined-up care. Mileage is reimbursed and you will be valued for your positive attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing nutritious and healthy balanced meals for service users and ensure their hydration needs are met
• Supporting service users with their medication
• Complete shopping or daily errands for service users
• Support service users to wash and dress, ensuring personal hygiene
• Support service users to maintain mobility
• Support service users to attend appointments
• Support service users to live a fulfilled life by supporting them to access the community and take part in activities that they enjoy
• Communicate with other professionals and ensure the care around the service user is joined up and effective
