Job summary

Birmingham and Solihow Women's Aid is seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker to support women in the community from our Birmingham base. This part-time, on-site role focuses on practical and emotional support to improve safety for women and children affected by violence.

BSWA offers a range of services and a supportive team; the role includes proximity to six refuges, access to training, and opportunities within a charity known for its long-standing impact in tackling

• Experience in supporting women affected by domestic abuse.

Responsibilities

• To deliver tailored, holistic support to women affected by violence and abuse and living in the community, including practical and emotional support to increase women’s and children’s safety and meet identified needs.
