Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a Specialist Day Support Worker in Macclesfield to support adults with autism and learning disabilities. You will join a MDT team delivering person-centred care in a specialist residential setting.

The role is full-time, 42 hours per week, weekdays only, with an hourly rate starting at £13.45 and increases after probation. DBS check is required and full on-site duties apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in care/support roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a specialist environment and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care in a specialist environment.
• Deliver support interventions alongside a clinical team.
• Offer guidance and emotional support to service users.
• Adapt care to individual needs and circumstances.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard vulnerable individuals and maintain a safe environment.
