Job summary

Shaw Trust is expanding its services into Hull and recruiting an Employment Specialist to help people with mental health needs move into sustainable paid work. The role is peripatetic, predominantly field-based within the community, with full training provided for the IPS or Supported Employment models.

You’ll work with clients, health professionals and employers to deliver person-centred support from referral through to job sustainment, building strong local partnerships and achieving

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of Supported Employment or the IPS model (training provided)
• Experience providing one-to-one support or coaching to individuals
• Experience managing a caseload and meeting performance targets or KPIs
• Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including employers

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Supported Employment or IPS approach in line with fidelity requirements
• Support participants through all stages of their employment journey, including job search, placement and in-work support
• Build positive relationships with local employers to create suitable job opportunities
• Achieve contractual targets including starts, job outcomes and job retention
