Job summary

Fedcap Employment is recruiting for a community-based Employment Specialist to support individuals through the Connect to Work programme in Surrey. You will manage a personal caseload, build trusted relationships, and develop tailored plans to help participants move into sustainable employment.

You will work across community hubs, GP surgeries, Job Centres and workplaces, travelling as needed. A zero-rejection approach supports our mission to unlock potential and transform lives through

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with health conditions, disabilities or complex needs.
• Proven experience of the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with participants, employers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify career ambitions and create personalised pathways into work.
• Manage caseload to meet contractual and service delivery targets.
• Develop My Success Plans using vocational profiling.
• Assist participants with CVs, interview prep, and employability documentation.
• Promote health, wellbeing and financial benefits of employment to participants.
• Collaborate with local employers to identify inclusive job opportunities.
• Provide in-work support to employers and employees for successful placements.
• Coordinate with health teams to support participants with complex needs.
• Maintain accurate progress records for each participant.
