Job summary

Seetec Group in Ipswich is seeking an Employment Specialist to help clients with learning disabilities move into sustainable paid employment. You will manage a caseload, provide person-centred guidance, and build relationships with referral partners and local employers.

The role is target-driven and offers a salary between £30,000 and £32,000 per year, plus benefits such as generous annual leave, pension, health support, and life assurance. Hours are 37 per week, with some travel to local hubs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local labour market in Ipswich and surrounding areas.
• Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, especially learning disabilities.
• Fully IT literate with Microsoft 365 and modern digital tools.
• Experience delivering services in a target-driven environment and meeting contractual/quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets and KPIs.
• Progress caseload of referred customers with learning disabilities and help overcome barriers to employment.
• Provide specialist support with learning disability awareness and self-development.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand circumstances, preferences and barriers to progression.
• Coordinate with local specialist services to address issues (substance misuse, debt advice, health, training).
• Develop and implement in-work support plans with employers and participants.
