Job summary

SkillsHouse is recruiting Employment Specialist Advisers to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across the Bradford District. You will manage a defined caseload of participants, delivering tailored one-to-one support to help individuals prepare for work and access suitable employment opportunities.

• Passion for helping people achieve goals and potential.
• Experience supporting individuals facing health-related or other barriers to employment.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and develop personalised action plans.
• Deliver one-to-one employment support interventions using a person-centred approach.
• Understand participants' strengths, aspirations, and barriers to employment.
• Support participants with barrier navigation, job searching, CV development, applications, interview preparation and job coaching.
• Work collaboratively with employers and partner organisations to identify suitable job opportunities.
• Provide ongoing in-work support to participants and employers to promote sustained employment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor participant progress against programme objectives.
