Job summary

Edwards & Pearce in Manchester city centre is seeking an Employment Solicitor (Associate) to manage a varied caseload with emphasis on executive exits and claimant litigation, under the supervision of a Partner. The successful candidate should have around five years PQE, strong knowledge of tribunal processes, and experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Qualifications

• Around five years PQE or equivalent employment law experience.
• Strong understanding of employment law and tribunal processes.
• Experience handling claimant-side and/or respondent litigation is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, focusing on executive exits and claimant litigation.
• Handle employment tribunal claims and support clients through litigation.
• Assist the Company and Commercial team with employment-related matters as required.
• Draft clear legal correspondence, pleadings and other documents.
• Represent clients effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with responsive service.
