Rutherford in London is seeking an Employment solicitor to join a highly regarded team handling sophisticated, high-profile matters for UK and international clients.

The role offers a genuinely varied mix of contentious and non-contentious work, including Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, senior executive disputes, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants and cross-border compliance, with excellent long‑term development and a collaborative, client‑facing culture.

Formación

• 3+ years’ PQE in UK employment law.
• Strong experience in both contentious and advisory matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and client-management skills.
• Commercial, proactive and collaborative approach with an interest in cross-border work.

We’re working on an excellent opportunity for an Employment solicitor to join a highly regarded London team handling sophisticated, high-profile matters for UK and international clients.

The practice offers a genuinely varied mix of contentious and non-contentious work, including:

• Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation
• Senior executive and partnership disputes
• Whistleblowing, discrimination and conduct-related investigations
• Restrictive covenant and team-move disputes
• Sensitive exits, internal investigations and reputational matters
• Restructuring, outsourcing and workforce-transformation projects
• Employment support on corporate transactions
• Cross-border employment compliance and strategic HR advice

Candidate requirements:

• Approximately 3 or more years’ PQE
• Strong UK employment law experience gained at a reputable firm
• Experience across both contentious and advisory matters
• Excellent drafting, analytical and client-management skills
• Confidence handling complex and sensitive issues
• A commercial, proactive and collaborative approach
• An interest in international and cross-border work
