Job summary

Farleys, following its recent partnership with Lawfront, is growing its Employment team and seeks a talented Employment Solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE to join us across our Lancashire offices; home base with travel to offices required.

This is a varied role handling advisory and contentious employment matters for both employers and employees, with autonomy on files and strong support from a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' PQE in Employment Law.
• Experience acting for both claimants and respondents.
• Strong technical ability and a confident approach to client care.
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and contributing to a growing department.

Responsibilities

• Work across both employer and employee matters, handling a broad mix of advisory and contentious employment work.
• Autonomy to run own files while being supported by a collaborative team.
• Contribute to development of HR Advantage service offered to employers.

Farleys has entered an exciting new chapter. Following our recent partnership with Lawfront, we're growing our successful Employment team and looking for a talented 2-4 years' PQE Employment Solicitor to join us - working across our Lancashire offices (you'll have a home base, but travel across offices is required).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a genuinely varied caseload and wants to be part of a forward-thinking firm during a period of real expansion.

The Role

You'll work across both employer and employee matters, handling a broad mix of advisory and contentious employment work. Expect a healthy blend of tribunal cases, day-to-day HR support, contracts and policies, discrimination matters, and business-focused advice.

You'll have the autonomy to run your own files while being supported by a friendly, collaborative team that values knowledge-sharing and professional development.

A particularly exciting aspect of the role will involve you playing a part further developing our HR Advantage service, which is our retainer service that we offer to employers.

What We're Looking For

• Ideally 2-4 years' PQE in Employment Law
• Experience acting for both claimants and respondents
• Strong technical ability and a confident approach to client care
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and contributing to a growing department
