Herrington Carmichael LLP is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to join our award-winning Employment Team. You’ll draft contracts, policies and agreements, advise on TUPE and mergers, and handle employment disputes with a focus on client service. You’ll work alongside leading Partners in a collaborative, growth-focused firm.

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting new vacancy for a 1-3 years PQE Solicitor to join our expanding team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting contracts, agreements, policies and procedures
• Providing corporate support and advising on all employment-related issues connected with mergers, acquisitions, contracting out and the effect of TUPE
• Advising on the full realm of employment related disputes and problems affecting both employers and employees.
• Preparation of Tribunal cases and providing representation at the hearing, where appropriate.
• Playing an active role in departmental and firm-wide business development and marketing initiatives
• Responsible for creation and development of client relationships
• Working both as part of the team as well as taking the lead on specific projects and activities
• Preparation of Tribunal cases and providing representation at the hearing, where appropriate
• Supervision of more junior team members

The successful candidate will have:

• A track record of developing new client relationships
