Job summary

Simpson Judge is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its North West team. You will manage your own caseload across discrimination, TUPE, disputes and tribunal advocacy, with hybrid working and a 36.25-hour week.

You will advise on strategic matters, develop case strategies, negotiate, and represent clients at Employment Tribunal hearings. The firm offers strong progression and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with NQ–3 PQE in Employment law.
• Experience within an Employment team and managing own caseload.
• Advocacy experience at Employment Tribunals and client-facing work.
• Strong client care, deadlines and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload across discrimination, TUPE, disputes and litigation.
• Advise clients on strategic employment matters and risk assessment.
• Represent clients at Employment Tribunal hearings when required.
• Develop case strategies and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship building.

Job Title: Employment Solicitor | NQ–3 PQE

Location: North West

Hours: Full time, 36.25 hours per week, hybrid working available

This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor at NQ–3 years PQE to join a well-established team and gain exposure to a varied and interesting caseload of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload and work closely with Senior Associates and Partners, advising clients across a broad range of Employment matters, including:

• Discrimination
• TUPE
• Employment disputes and litigation
• Tribunal advocacy and hearings

You will also be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, assessing risk, developing case strategies, negotiating and, where required, representing clients at Employment Tribunal hearings.

About You

We’re looking for a qualified Solicitor or CILEX lawyer, ideally NQ–3 PQE, with:

• Previous experience within an Employment team
