Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Leeds is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded national law firm. You will advise a diverse client base on contentious and non-contentious employment matters while supporting partners on complex and high quality work.

The profile requires a solicitor with approximately 1 to 5 years PQE, experienced across employment law, and capable of handling both contentious and non-contentious matters with strong client relationships.

Description

• Advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters
• Handling both contentious and non contentious employment work
• Supporting partners on complex and high value employment matters
• Advising clients across sectors including education, corporate services and healthcare
• Managing employment matters from initial instruction through to resolution
• Building strong and trusted relationships with clients
• Drafting and reviewing employment documentation and agreements
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the employment team

Profile

• A solicitor with approximately 1 to 5 years PQE
• Experienced across a range of employment law matters
• Comfortable handling both contentious and non contentious work
• Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
• Able to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
• Confident working alongside experienced partners on complex matters
• A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Collaborative, proactive and keen to develop their career within a large national law firm

Job Offer

• Salary between £62,000 and £75,000
