Job summary

Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment in Leeds is assisting a well-established regional law firm to recruit an Employment Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE to join a growing team in a collaborative environment.

You will advise claimants and respondents across discrimination, dismissal, settlements, tribunals and restructuring, manage your own caseload and enjoy hybrid working with strong career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years PQE in employment law.
• Experience handling both claimant and respondent work.
• Strong client communication and advisory skills.
• Proven ability to manage own caseload and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Advise claimants and respondents across a broad range of employment matters.
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and hearings.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and policies.
• Provide practical, commercially-focused advice and support to clients.

We are working with a well-established and progressive regional law firm in Leeds that is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join its growing team.

You will advise both claimants and respondents across a broad range of employment matters, including:

• Discrimination claims
• Unfair and wrongful dismissal
• Settlement agreements
• Employment Tribunal claims and hearings
• Redundancies and restructuring
• Disciplinary and grievance matters
• Employment contracts and policies
• General contentious and non-contentious employment advice

You will work closely with clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice while managing your own caseload and representing clients through the employment litigation process where required.

You will be an experienced Employment Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE, with strong experience across a broad range of employment matters.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident handling both claimant and respondent work
• Experienced in Employment Tribunal proceedings and hearings
• Commercially minded and able to provide pragmatic advice
